Orthodontic and general dentistry clinic

In 2018 we celebrate the first ten years of existence. Our experience and dedicated work enable us to constantly introduce inovations in our everyday life and follow global trends, both in the treatment of adults and children. We want to offer our patients only the best, therefore Ortodent employees regularly attend educational programs in Slovenia and abroad.

Our desire is to educate people that it is necessary to take care of our teeth from young ages, as this is an investment for the entire life. Excellent oral hygiene, treatment of orthodontic abnormalities by an orthodontic specialist and prevention of incorrect orofacial functions are the basis that later on no complicated and expensive prosthetic and dental implant rehabilitation, surgical or periodontal surgical procedures will be needed.

Our team

1996 - 2010 Studying and the beginnings

She graduated at University of Ljubljana Faculty of Medicinen, programme Dental Medicine Ljubljana in 1996. She began her career as a dentist and later on as an orthodontic specialist in the Public Health Centre in Ptuj and in Ormož.

2007 Specialization in jaw and dental orthopedics

In 2007, she completed her specialization in jaw and dental orthopedics, under the mentorship of prof. dr. Franc M. Farčnik.

2010 - this day Ortodent

Since 2010 she has been working in an outpatient dental clinic Ortodent d.o.o. in Slovenska Bistrica and in Ptuj.

Dr. Arko is an organized individual, responsible and committed to work at Ortodent. She is challenged by the modern orthodontics and aesthetic dentistry. Therefore, she regularly participate in seminars in Slovenia and abroad.

In her clinic, she introduced the Face-Roth Advanced Orthodontics program she was trained for at two-year continuous education abroad and gained additional knowledge of from the co-founder of Face, Dr. Domingo Martin in San Sebastian, Spain.

In recent years, in addition to the classic orthodontic treatment of children and adults, Dr. Arko Kampuš she has specialized in the treatment using invisible INVISALIGN braces (she has gained the Invisalign Master Class certificate) and skeletal anchorage devices using Benefit (orthodontic mini implants).

2003 - 2017 Studying and the beginnings

She graduated at University of Ljubljana Faculty of Medicinen, programme Dental Medicine Ljubljana in 2003. She began her career as a dentist and later on as an orthodontic specialist in the Public Health Centre in Ptuj, treating children and youth.

2013 Specialization in jaw and dental orthopedics

In 2013, she completed her specialization in jaw and dental orthopedics, under the mentorship of prof. dr. Franc M. Farčnik. Since then until 2017 she had worked as an orthodontic specialist in the Public Health Centre in Ptuj.

2017 - this day Ortodent

in May 2017 she began to work at an outpatient dental clinic Ortodent d.o.o. as an orthodontic specialist.

Dr. Jurančič Mikek constantly upgrades her knowledge by participating in domestic professional seminars as well as abroad and is dedicated to studying professional literature in the field of child dentistry and orthodontic treatment in children.

Recently, she is mainly engaged in skeletal anchored devices in children, using the Benefit system.

Due to the many experiences and the invaluable feeling of working with children, at Ortodent Clinic she works mainly with our youngest patients.
